TYPES OF SEDATION

Minimal Sedation

You may choose minimal sedation by administering nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas. You will be awake, fully aware, but calm. It wears off quickly, so you may drive home.

Oral Sedation

Oral sedation is a prescription medication taken one hour before your appointment. It offers a deeper level of sedation based on the dose prescribed. The relaxed state means you will lose focus on external surroundings. This effect will last for 1-2 hours.

Intravenous Sedation

Intravenous sedation is an innovative solution for fearful dental patients. You are completely relaxed, but still, you are conscious enough to have awareness.
